High-pole lamps are the main products of Jiangsu Senfa. The annual sales volume of such lamps of general enterprises is about 60 sets, while that of Jiangsu Senfa is about 1,000 sets.

Overview

Lifting high-pole lamps, usually 15--50m high, are widely used for lighting of large areas on wide roads, interchanges, squares, parking lots, car washes, ports, freight yards, train marshaling yards, and airport aprons.

Structure

The lifting high-pole lamp is composed of lamp house (installed with lamp), lamp pole, lifting and lowering mechanism, and electrical device.

  1. The lamp house can be lifted or lowered for the convenience of maintenance and repair. It is made of high-quality steel plate and installed with lamp, light source, ballast, trigger, hook assembly, and terminals. The shape of lamp house is determined according to user requirements.
  2. The lamp pole is a shaped multi-edge tapered pole with the upper diagonal diameter being Ø280 and the taper of each section being 1:69. Generally, it has 3--4 sections, each of which is 7--10m in length. The steel rod is rolled and shaped with Q235 steel plate of Baosteel and welded through CO2 gas-shielded welding process into a tapered rod with uniformly varying diameter; then the rods are inserted together to form an entire lamp pole without transversal welding. After being hot-galvanized on the internal and external surfaces, the lamp pole goes through plastic spraying on the external surface.

There is an electrical door at the bottom of the pole, inside which the lifting and lowering mechanism and the electrical device are installed. The edge of the electrical door is welded with a door frame to make up for the decline in the strength of pole body after the door is opened. The cover of the electrical door is equipped with a waterproof ring to prevent the infiltration of rain.

A pulley block is fixed on the top of the pole, and the limit switch, hook device, rain cover, and lightning arrester are integrated with the lamp pole.

  1. The lifting and lowering mechanism is made up of ZD motor, coupling, hoisting mechanism, etc. Once the power is lost, it can immediately keep the lamp house stopped in any state, with the emergency braking device to prevent the lamp house from falling and the locking function for wire rope breaking, thus ensuring safety. The hoisting mechanism consists of such parts as non-rotating galvanized steel wire rope, reel, worm reduction gearbox, gear, and auxiliary wireline pulley block, which are safe and reliable during running and easy to operate.
  2. Head: The head, fixed on the top of the pole body with fastening bolts, is a load-bearing guide assembly composed of multiple pieces of 120°-distributed sheet material, pulley block, and stainless steel shaft. It is connected with the lamp house by pulleys and steel wire ropes and has a glass fiber-reinforced plastic rainproof cover and a lightning arrester with a protection angle of 90°.
  1. Lamp house: The lamp house consists of two half rings connected by flanges. There are three 120°-distributed hanging feet on the periphery of the lamp house, and the front ends of the hanging feet are equipped with nylon guide pulleys and anti-collision rings, which guide the lamp house to the correct position when it is lifted or lowered. A number of lamp mounting plates can be welded on the periphery of the lamp house for lamp installation.
  1. Hooking and locking system: The system is composed of two parts: one part is the hooking and locking box, which is fixed on the side of the head and made of steel without the need for maintenance; the other part is the handing mechanism consisting of hooking foot, two-way springs, and hinge pins, which is installed onto the hanging foot of the lamp house and can be lowered to the ground with the lamp house for the convenience of inspection and maintenance. With the lifting or lowering operation of the lamp house, the hooking and locking system can smoothly complete the hooking and unhooking of the lamp house, and the auxiliary signal turnover mechanism can clearly show the action and state of the hook. The whole lamp house has three 120°-distributed hooking and locking systems.
  1. Hoisting system: The external power single hoisting system is made up of worm reduction gearbox, reel, steel wire rope, rigging coupler, and rope stopper. The worm reduction gearbox is fully enclosed, and its lubrication is enough for the consumption during the whole service life of the high pole without maintenance. There is a locking device installed on its input drive shaft for safe locking when not working at ordinary times. The special rigging coupler is used to connect the main wire rope of the hoist with the three auxiliary wire ropes that hang the lamp house. The rope stopper can ensure that the stainless steel wire rope runs in the correct position to prevent friction damage. An overload reducer is provided to ensure that there is no top collision. The lifting or lowering speed of the lamp house is 3.5m/min. In case of the maintenance of the lamp house, the user only needs to open the small door at the bottom of the pole to remotely operate the button to achieve lifting or lowering. In case of power failure, the manual device can be used for lifting and lowering, which is convenient for maintenance.
  1. Power drive: The power drive is a bidirectional single-speed electric drive, which can be raised or lowered, with light weight and simple operation. The drive should have an over-torsion protection device to prevent the breaking of wire rope due to the excessive torsion force during overload operation and improve the safety of lifting.
  1. The power supply part is installed on the electrical board inside the door at the bottom of the pole, and it includes the power supply of lamp set, the power supply of motor, and control component. The power cable of lamp set (namely the main cable) is connected with the four-terminal connector bar on the electrical board. The main cable is connected for powering on the lamp and disconnected during lifting or lowering. The power source of the lamp can be divided into three groups, and clock control or light control can be selected through switches S1--S3. A control box is installed inside the pole.

  2. The lifting system is equipped with the double protection circuit of limit switch, and the motor control system has the functions of electric leakage protection and overheat protection.
  3. The lamp control has two modes -- computer time control system and remote master control system:

(B1) The computer time control achieves automatic control according to the set program;

(B2) The remote master control can realize remote control manually at a selected location according to the actual control requirements.

  1. Lamp:
  2. The body and cover of the lamp are made of die-cast aluminum alloy, with the surface treated by electrostatic plastic spraying. The structure is light and corrosion resistant. The anti-corrosion grade of lamp housing is II, its protection grade is IP65, and its anti-electric shock grade is Class I, complying with the provisions of the Luminaries -- Safety Requirements and Tests (GB7000.1--7000.6).
  1. The reflector is made of press-shaped high-purity aluminum and treated by anodic oxidation electrochemical polishing. It has the characteristics of stable optical performance and high reflectivity.
  1. The lampshade is made of curved high-strength tempered glass, with high temperature resistance above 200℃, high light transmittance, and impact resistance.
  2. The reflector, the tempered-glass lampshade, and the lamp holder are glued together with sealing adhesive to form an internal bulb replacement structure, which has good sealing performance. The sealing ring is resistant to high temperature above 250℃, and the sealing grade reaches IP66.

    IV.Other technical instructions:

  1. The lamp house can be lowered to the ground so that maintenance and repair can be done on the ground.
  2. Special fully-enclosed worm reduction gearbox is employed, which needs no adding of lubricating oil and no maintenance during the whole service life. A locking device is installed on the input drive shaft of worm for the locking when not working at ordinary times.
  3. The unique hooking and locking system is novel in design, smooth in hooking and unhooking, safe, and reliable. A signal turnover mechanism is attached to the hooking and locking system to clearly show the action and state of the hook, which is convenient for personnel operation and improves the safety of use.
  4. By using remote control (which can be coupled with a manual lifting system), personnel can operate in a safe area, thus ensuring safety.
  5. The pole has anchoring piles set on the inner wall and is equipped with safety chains, which are used for double safety protection when the lamp house is in the hooked state.
